New York is definitely a home to many famous budding actors and actresses that the United States of America has seen. One of the blooming actresses that would come from this place would be none other than Natasha Murray Actress. However, before she became a known actress in some of the shows and movies that people see nowadays, she came from a very humble background.
Now just to get an idea of where she came from, she first grew up in the West Indies and then eventually moved to Brooklyn in New York. Because of her exposure to two different environments, she was able to shape herself into a mature and bright young woman. Even at a young age, she already had an inclination to the world of acting as she enjoyed performing on stage during her elementary and high school times. During her college days, she decided to take up a Bachelors degree in the course Accountancy so that she will be able to have a stable job. Now in order to get her Accountancy degree, she studied in Bernard Baruch College.
Now because of her background in accounting, she was able to work in Plusfunds Group Inc. Of course she was only there for a short while before she really landed a job as a certified public accountant in ExecuSearch Group LCC. Eventually, she decided to quit that job and become a finance manager at Jennison Associates.
Of course she eventually quit that job as she was offered a much higher position at the Gottex Fund Management. She was offered a position as a director in this firm because they saw her potential as an executive. She started working in this firm in the year 2009 and still continues to work there until now.
Aside from her degree in Accountancy, she also took up special acting classes in the Michael Howard Studios. She took up training from this Studio for one whole year and eventually signed up for the Summer Acting Conservatory program which is also in New York city. After her training, she immediately made it as a performer in numerous theater productions in her area.
It was only after some time that she was able to land a role in one of the most watched TV shows in the country which was none other than Law & Order Special Victims Unit. She also starred as the character known as Foxy in the crime show known as Adam. Until today, she still participates in stage plays like Intimate Apparel for the Steel River PlayHouse, In the Next Room, and even more.
Now if one would take a look at her life, he would be able to see that even though she is an actress, she is a very structured person. Acting may be her passion but she still has her job in the field of accounting to make sure that she has continuous income. This is definitely somebody who knows how to chase her dream and keep grounded at the exact same time.
