Stories Of Medical Miracles Abounds On Internet Sites

By Susan Dawson

Since the beginning of time mankind has recorded miraculous events and none of these events are as prolific as medicinal ones. There are numerous stories of desperately ill or injured people that recovered against all hope and expectation. In some cases these healings were affected by humans or animals and in many others it simply cannot be explained. When it comes to medical miracles the jury is still out.

Debates regarding to miraculous cures abound. There are many medical experts that are more than willing to declare publicly that they have given up on a patient, only to see him or her recover in a remarkable manner. In some cases it is impossible to even trace the original disease after the recovery. However, whether such recoveries are indeed miraculous or due to unknown science is still a matter for discussion and research.

It is only natural to expect that people diagnosed with terminal or debilitating illnesses will seek out solutions. Most people will immediately conduct studies on their own conditions and in many cases they will come across a huge number of opinions on how their specific problem can be sorted out in an alternative manner. Some go the route of spiritual treatment.

Many miraculous cures are nature based. A variety of people, including medical experts, patients themselves and nutrition experts extol the virtues of specific herbs and foods that are said to have a substantial influence on the progress of the disease in question. Unfortunately, medical science does not always support such curative qualities and this may cause confusion and conflict in the minds of the patients concerned.

It is interesting to note that a large number of faith healers claim that only the deity that they support is actually able to engineer miraculous healings. These healers hold special services, lay hands on their followers or anoint them, and claim to be a channel through which the deity heals the supplicant. Unfortunately, many of these healings have been exposed as fraudulent.

It is surprising to learn just how many ill people turn to alternative healing processes once they learn and accept that they are ill. Many will turn to religion, hoping for a miracle. Others will dedicate their lives to charitable causes, believing that they can gain favor with the deities or the spirits that are in control of the ether. Others promise to change their lives if only they will get better.

There are many cynics that are of the opinion that there is no such thing as miracles. They say that people will try to attribute supernatural intervention to anything that cannot be explained logically or scientifically. Yet many experts in the field of medicine will confirm that they have witnessed recoveries that are totally beyond scientific explanation and that they cannot say just how it happened.

Stories of medical miracles certainly abound and there are many websites that allow people to relate their own personal experiences. Whether there are truly miracles or not is most certainly still an issue for debate. However, those that have experienced bona fide cures will swear that they were recipients of miraculous intervention.
