Everyone loves to have custom paint for his or her vehicle. It is not a must to get to a professional mechanic to have such a task done. You can adopt simple painting techniques and have appealing graphics to showcase. There are a couple of things that one should do to make the painting process a success. Continue reading this article to acquaint with various way on how to make custom painted graphics Texas.

Look for the right items that you require in the procedure. You do not need to use complicated items to make this process a success. You should get spray paint, oil-based paint markers, a sharp knife, and tape. You can also use a painting tape as the alternative as long as it is two inches. Find paints that have the best quality that can last for a long period.

Cover the target area with masking tape. You can use a lot of other covers to draw the painting, but the masking tape is the most effective one. You need a large amount of tape to cover the whole area and create the perfect drawing space as well. The tape works well on a dark-colored surface since it is white. The masking tape is also ideal for making stencil during the painting process.

Draw your image. The best procedure is to draw your image on the tape. Do not put a lot of pressure on it to avoid spoiling the masking tape or damaging the paint of your car. It is good to handle this process freehand. However, use an overhead projector to blow a smaller image that you can trace. When you get satisfied with the drawing, then proceed to cut out the stencil.

Cut the stencil. It is not an easy task to cut the stencil. It puts you at the risk of cutting yourself if you are not careful enough. You can also damage your target surface if you do not make the right choice. You should cut the images in portions. Cut the portions that will be going at the same color at the same time to maintain an even proportion.

Paint the stencils. Find a ventilated place to avoid intoxicating yourself with the paint. You should consider handling the process outside where there is enough free air. Paint each portion at a time to ensure that the image remains even. Beware of overloading the edges of the portion with overruns.

Use different types of painting. Systematically, cover different areas of your stencil before you proceed to the next part that you intend to paint. This is to avoid a situation where you cover too many areas to the point of re-masking the whole area with the tape.

Detail the whole painting. Remove the masking tape and leave the blocks of your stencil. They might appear uneven hence the need to sharpen them using an outlining marker. Your hands should be off the portion to avoid a situation where you smudge the paint with your hand.
