Becoming A Better Canadian School Of Dance Dancer

Most dancers joins at least one dance school so that they can improve their skills more and get new ideas and techniques from other dancers. There are a lot of schools out there, so if you are new, choosing could be overwhelming and hard. Canadian school of dance Ottawa is one of the place that dancers go to, so if you are planning to enroll to a dance school or transfer, consider going there.

Some of you wants to improve your skills, but you just do not have the time or you think you have no time. Working your schedules around might be hard, but know that there are ways on how you can work them to stay on top of dancing. You can always do your workout and practice during the morning before you go to school.

The first thing that you need to do after you enroll is to find the right instructor for you. Find a teacher that will make you feel great and can bring out the best in you. If you work with them regularly, your skills would surely improve. It is important that you carefully choose your instructor, especially when you are new to this.

Do stretching every morning. It is always best to start your day with some morning stretch. The routine does not need to be intense or long, simply getting up and moving your body is already great to jump start your day. Stretching will make you more flexible, increasing your motion range which improves dancing. This also reduces the risk of getting injured.

Practice doing muscle memory. Muscle memory is a motor skill that is acquired by doing repetitive movements. You may practice this in two ways, practicing techniques or skills or practicing choreography. You could also train the muscle for the whole day, driving alone is already considered as training.

Review your old sets and pieces. After your class ends, it does not mean that your practice is already over. You should keep on practicing. To refresh your mind, review the moves that you have learned. When you find yourself forgetting some moves, take time to re learn it. Doing this will condition your mind to keep on thinking about placement.

Watch dance videos from time to time. Watching is of course not the same with doing the moves, but this can still count as practicing. Of course, you must watch videos with the intention of learning from it. The videos you watch can be a way for you to get inspired and to get new techniques which you may use.

Eat right. For many, this is the hardest thing to do. Eating is life so giving up all those delicious food is certainly very hard to do. However, eating unhealthy foods can detriment your skills. Plan ahead the foods you will be eating for the day and make sure to pack up some vegetables and fruits. For those who are constantly on the go, a granola bar is your holy grail.

Perform. You must be proud of yourself no matter how little you achieve. Every performance should also be enjoyed. Put a smile on your face to make an impression of happiness, amusement, and pleasure. The judges would think like you are enjoying your performance when you smile the whole time. Show to them how much you love dancing.
