Your shoes and outfit are also quite important. It is advisable that you wear a shoe and clothes that you ever practiced while in. If you were not comfortable, then you know what weights to shed off. If you are not comfortable with stilettos you really do not have to rock them that particular day.

To make the day count you must not really dress to kill. Those fancy dresses might leave you looking funny and like you confused it with a beauty contest. Just look presentable and composed as much as you possibly can. Since you do not want to lose your points where you can save them, research on how best one should look on such an event.

In the very end it is your self-confidence that earns you points. Try to be as relaxed as you possibly can during your performance and after. Even if something unexpected happens just recompose yourself and proceed.
