An Insight Into The Treatment Capabilities Of Body Piercing Toronto

By Steven Sanders

Evidently, in the recent past, there has been a great upshot in the population who desire to get punctured in various parts of the body for aesthetic reasons. Most notably has been the daith. The body piercing Toronto has not been left behind in this wave. There are also claims in that are coming up that the daith could treat the migraines. Already seeing some coincidence?

It would be safe for anyone to assume that after so many years of expansion in the industry that at least one person from the crowd would have come out with a personal confession saying something like, You know friend, I have been suffering from migraines until recently. The puncturing must have fixed me!. That has never come up until now.

These occurrences can be entirely explained by the basis confirmation theory. It contains a lot of unfound facts that nobody cares to consider. Talk about a placebo effect. All that individuals care to know is that once a person is done with the procedure, he is healed.

According to this instance, the circumstance bias could be like this; the piercer has a hypothesis that when a daith is fixed to a person with migraines, one is healed. The same information is re-laid to all the clients that their expert claim. However, it is failed to mention about those that did not give any positive feedback at all. The population could as well be a placebo, those who think they have the condition but they have never been to a doctor actually to prove it.

That is the reason all experiments are set up with a control in place. Placebos are also used. Those scheduled to collect the information do not know who get the placebo and who got the real medication. The results are not just a confirmation of the experimenters bias. And that is the reason why conducting a proper study done topically is of importance. To protect everyone from being coloured by biases.

One cannot be blamed for having believed such claims to a point of trying them out in an attempt to get rid of the condition. The bad science is to be blamed. That is because these days people are ignoring the underlying conditions which should be a guide in writing any scientific article. It should be recommended for such people to have a glimpse of the book entitled The Bad Science.

Another plausible explanation is that the people who release such claims are not even aware of the migraine condition they are talking about. To such people, their ignorance could be leading them to think that when a person complains about a migraine is any another headache caused due to self-inflicted stress. They should be pitied. This condition is dangerous.

Therefore, the people spreading these unfound claims should realize how much power they wield over these desperate populations. Such people need to be well protected from the rigorous skeptical journalism. Suggesting such things like they can be able to treat a migraine is totally misleading and is playing with their emotion. For all piercers, it is of utmost importance to approach such issues with the highest ethical standards. And for those writing blogs and articles, they should refrain from writing articles such as this.
