To avoid the problems of guests tagging along with two or more people you have not invited, make sure you print the invitee name on the card in bold. This way, there is no way anyone else will come in by the virtue of being invited by the guest. In case this happens however, talk politely to the guest and explain the protocol.

Awkward moments will be experienced when the complains come pouring in from some people who were left out or you meet them somewhere. Remember to be firm and polite in explaining the situation to avoid you message being understood the wrong way. Thereafter, take the conversation towards another direction.
