Dr Seuss Artwork Adds Zest To Every Home

By Christi Larsen

Dr Seuss artwork will be a great addition to any household that wants to remember a great writer of children books. His real name was Geisel, but many remember him as Dr. Seuss who wrote such fine stories as Green Eggs and Ham and The Cat In The Hat, to name but two of his many classics. This writer has helped many children grow into responsible members of society.

Seuss's books have helped kids learn to love school and helped many kids learn to expand their imaginations. The characters such as the talking fish, the clever cat, or the friendly elephant, have helped kids learn that feelings and thoughts are important. This writer has kids learn to respect the rights and feelings of others and helped make society more caring and worthwhile.

Children get a lot more of an educational experience from reading books than watching TV. Children who spend a lot of time in front of the TV will not get as much from the experience compared to reading a good book like a book written by Seuss. All the television requires is that someone turn it on while a book requires one to be alert and present.

A lot of kids spend hours spending time playing video games, some kids spend more time playing video games than watching television which is frightening. Geisel has written books that help kids learn to expand their imagination and their minds whereas video games keep kids locked up in a make believe world where violence and bloodshed is the norm. How much better this world would be if kids spent time reading Geisel's books.

Children who learn to develop their minds reading books get better grades in school. Kids who get better grades in school will eventually do better in their careers and live more complete lives. Reading Geisel's books not only helps kids expand their frontiers but also help kids prepare for a more fuller, richer life.

Dr. Suess was a humble man who loved kids and wanted to do his best to enrich their minds. He is responsible for helping many kids grow up to be respectable adults who are well rounded and respectable members of society. Many kids today are reading his works and finding out that there is more to life than television and video games.

Many of Seuss's books have been made into feature animated films that have brought laughter and joy to many people no matter their age group. The films are a great source of entertainment, but nothing beats the actual book as far as helping a child learn to love knowledge. Reading the actual book helps a child learn how to enjoy reading for the sake of reading and gives the child the power to learn on his or her own without a television screen or video game.

Dr Seuss artwork is a fine addition to any home or even office. These paintings are a fine addition for any school library or children's playroom. The artwork will remind adults and children alike of the contribution Geisel has made to our society.
