A Variety Of The Best Movies From The Film Industry's Most Impressive Directors

By Richard Daniels

While the media chooses to idolize movie stars and praise their great work, some of the people that should be getting more love are the directors. After all, it is the director that brings everything together. You can have an incredible actor with an incredible script, but when it comes to making a movie, the director has to be on point.

This article will discuss some of the best directors that are currently putting out movies in Hollywood.

Another director that is impossible to overlook is Steven Spielberg. Some of Spielberg's most recent movies include Saving Private Ryan, The Terminal, Munich, War Of The Worlds, and Minority Report.

While I am not the biggest Spike Lee fan, it is hard to deny his talent. Some of Spike Lee's best films have come out in recent years, and those include 25th Hour, starring Edward Norton, and Inside Man, starring Denzel Washington and Clive Owen.

Danny Boyle is another director that I absolutely love. Some of Boyle's best movies include, but are not limited to, Unleashed (aka "Danny The Dog") starring Jet Li, 28 Days Later, Trainspotting, and of course, Slumdog Millionaire. His new movie, 127 Hours, stars James Franco and looks awesome.

Another director that must be mentioned in any combination of directors is obviously James Cameron. The man has put out some of the most iconic movies of all time, not to mention the top two highest grossing films of all time, Titanic and Avatar. If you haven't seen Avatar, you are missing out.

One other director that has to be mentioned on any list of mine is Quentin Tarantino. Where do I even begin? Some of his best movies include Kill Bill: Vol 1, Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Basterds, and Reservoir Dogs.

When it comes down to it, the above five directors are my favorites. Any movie any of these geniuses create I will line up at theaters to see.
