Six Famous Male Opera Singers

Nowadays, the music had been evolving and many people are now listening more on to pop music. However, humans should still not sleep on other genres too. Just like opera music, more likely it has less population of listeners. Perhaps you have no idea of some musicians catering to that. But this article will provide you famous male singers with golden voices. Perhaps you have known others. Nevertheless, knowing them might surely enthuse you about classical opera singers.

Placido Domingo. You probably have known him because he was a member of the Three Tenors along with Luciano Pavarotti and Jose Carreras. But aside from that fact, Placido is born in Spain and his voice was spinto before it moved to dramatic tenor. His acts in Don Jose, Hoffman, Cavaradossi and Canio had made him very notable in his career. In addition, he gained many awards which also includes from Grammy.

Dmitri Hvorostovsky. Not only his striking looks will astound you but also baritone voice which made him worldwide famous. Dmitri is a Russian artist and his international debut started in 1989 for he won a competition and beat another famous opera singer. The Peoples magazine has also included him in the rankings of most beautiful people. He also made a collaboration with Renee Fleming in Eugene which became one of his best acts.

Jose Carreras. Jose, a Spanish artist with a beautiful tenor voice, is noted for his performances from Puccini and Verdi. At the age of eleven, he started his operatic stage career then performed more than sixty roles and became famous particularly when he joined The Three Tenors alongside with Luciano Pavarotti and Placido Domingo. He had gained many awards from his career as well as humanitarian works.

Luciano Pavorotti. His fame had dubbed him as King of High Cs in the twentieth century. Aside from that, no one can deny that Luciano had expanded and shared the wonders of opera music to the world. No wonder people will always remember him. In fact, he is one of Three Tenors and he did many collaborations with notable artists that is not in line with his genre.

Andrea Bocelli. According to Celine Dion, if the Heavenly Father can speak to humans, his voice will be like Andrea Bocelli. No one can blame her from saying that because he indeed has a beautiful voice. Despite his blindness, he made a history in classical crossover music for becoming the biggest-selling singer.

Lawrence Brownlee. A young American singer who is now also making his name in this field. Lawrence had received acclaims with his tenor voice and acts as well as his activities with Met. He had also worked with Renee Fleming Armida and Elina Garanca in La Centerola.

Philippe Jaroussky. Philippe has a French soprano countertenor voice which is quite uncommon for male artist. His versatility had been proven with his works in art songs and operas plus his technique in singing is certainly flawless. Philippe also received several awards and his Baroque works are something people, especially those who love this genre, should listen to.

These men had really shaped this genre. Hopefully, this new generation will also produce operatic singers. That way, this genre will continue to live.
