Barra da Tijuca is the lengthiest beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, having six Miles of pristine and exotic green water. It is also usually frequented by stimulating waves appealing surfers both for newbies and knowledgeable surfers. It is just twenty minutes from Ipanema and Copacabana. A normal surfer getaway in Brasil generally involves buying a new board and taking the bus out to Barra to try it out.
