Planning A Superhero Birthday Party Houston TX

By Amy Brown

Birthday Planning 101 begins with creating a checklist. Writing down ideas and creating a To-Do List is a great start whether the Birthday Party is months away or in just a couple weeks. After coming up with a guest list and head count of who would be attending your Superhero Birthday Party Houston TX, consider making a list of all the supplies you'll need.

Well, the very first step is to figure out what superhero your child has in mind. Some kids will be very specific, saying "Wonder Woman" or "Spiderman" while others may provide a wider range, such as "X-Men." Once you know what hero or heroes you are going to be focusing on, you can begin to plan the party.

Batman is just one of many different Superheroes, therefore when you have your party, why not turn everyone into a superhuman? When you send out your invitations, ask each person who their favorite superhuman is other than Batman. When they respond back, you can begin putting together capes and insignias to correspond with the superhuman the child selected. Save Batman for the birthday boy, but let everyone else dress up as his or her favorite superhuman when they arrive.

Making a mask is as easy as cutting the shape and gluing some elastic. If you chose paper or plastic, there wouldn't be as much of a drying time for anything other than maybe some glitter. Whichever direction you take, the capes and masks will be a hit at any superhuman bash.

Photo Invitations- Invitations designs also comes to a plenty when it comes to superhuman themed parties. You can simply replace your favorite superheroes face with your face to complete the look of your bash invitation. Be sure to send the invitations two to three weeks ahead so that your guests can still prepare for their costumes and clear out their schedules for your superhuman themed celebration.

Batman's arch-enemy is The Joker, so why not get all your little Superheroes together to find The Joker. You can usually get a large clown balloon at various stores, and then all you have to do is hide it somewhere in the house, but not before you put candy in it, and give the children various clues on where it is. Then the children will search the house to find The Joker, and when they do, they can have fun battling him until he pops and the candy inside comes out.

Circus/Animal Bash: Children love animals, so with an animal-themed bash, you're sure to please! Allow children to come dressed as their favorite animal, or provide face masks they can wear during the bash. Maybe even have the bash at a petting zoo. It's a great learning experience and provides them with tons of entertainment.

If you look at party stores, you may be able to find plates and napkins with your child's favorite superhero on them. This is particularly true with popular heroes. If you are having trouble finding accessories like this at local stores, check online. You might be surprised at the variety you can find, and many companies offer rush shipping if needed.
